Steven Frenzel has been an Illinois certified teacher since 1988, and he has worked at schools in Park Ridge, Wilmette, Schiller Park, and Winnetka. During his years spent teaching math, Steven discovered that movies were an excellent way to bring lesson concepts to life for his students, and this realization, combined with his love of film, inspired him to begin teaching film appreciation courses. Interest in these courses continued to expand until Steven chose to devote himself full time to creating dynamic, educational film presentations, and Marquee Movie Presentations was born.

Drawing on his extensive experience in the classroom, Steven has introduced hundreds of students to the wonderful world of film, and his presentations have made waves outside of the classroom as well, educating and entertaining audiences at libraries, senior centers, veterans groups, and other organizations.
